Akshi Tarpana is an unique procedure in Ayurveda where herbal infused ghrta (ghee) is placed over the eyes for a specific period of time. The herb-infused ghee nourishes and strengthens the eyese.
The process starts with a gentle message for the head and face. A frame is then placed around the eyes filled with herbal ghee. Once the ghee is poured onto the eyes, the client opens and closes the eyes several times before the ghee is removed.
Best results are achieved when this therapy is performed for 7-14 days.
