About this service
Akshi Tarpana is a unique procedure in Ayurveda where herbal-infused ghrita/ghee is retained over the eyes for a specific amount of time by a particular arrangement. The herbal infused ghee is absorbed through the sclerocorneal junction and nourishes & strengthens the eye structure.

A dough ring is allowed to sit around the eyes and the medicated ghee is poured into the eyes. The client opens and closes the eyes several times before the ghee is removed, warmed and poured again and continued for a while.

Optimal results are seen after 7–14 sessions of the therapy.
